Tinplate Traditions

M.T.H. has made Standard and O Gauge tinplate reproduction trains for twenty years. M.T.H. founder Mike Wolf says these trains are his favorites; he appreciates the artistry found in the colors and shapes of these unusual engines and cars. Tinplate trains are made of stamped or die-cast metal, generally boasting bright, colorful enamel paint, and they are not meant to be accurate reproductions of real trains.
